We promise it’s only temporary! After being rolled up and stored away it is normal for certain kinds of rugs to develop a resting odour. Simply unroll your rug and let it air out the smell should dissipate within a day or two.

You can even try sprinkling some baking soda over the rug to absorb the smell and give it a vacuum after a few hours.
